BIOF350 Lab 7:

For this lab, use CASTER to trace a retinal axon from a cone pedicle or rod spherule to a bipolar cell. Start by downloading the current version of CASTER from github at https://github.com/Jesse-McDonald/CASTER. For the image stack, there is one located on isoptera at http://isoptera.lcsc.edu/~data. Ignore the caster version on isoptera - it is over a year old. Find an axon near a spherule or pedicle, and trace it as far as you can. If you trace it for an hour without finding the end, you can consider your lab finished.
