Destroying Walls
Due Wednesday, October 28
For this lab, make the walls in the game destructible!
There is a fixed version of yesterday's example in the class examples, as start_collisions.zip. This has a few fixes, which I'll talk about at the beginning of lab, and also adds support for firing with the left mouse button.
Use the new collision interface we defined in game.h to make the walls react to a collision. You'll have to implement all 4 collision-related methods for walls. fast_check_distance should return a number that's clearly high enough no further collision checking is needed. The default of 0 will require the engine to make detailed checks for every instance of the class, which is inefficient. closest_point should yield the closest point to the other object. get_center is mostly a helper. Take a look at the code in mise_objects.cpp to see how to get the center and size given the model matrix. Finally, report_collision should remove the wall instance that the collision was reported on.
